Thermostatic valve with two-point connection, angle and straight type, for R 1/2 and G 3/4 radiator connection
The Multilux 4 – Set is connected to radiators with a lower 2-point connection such as bathroom radiators, universal radiators etc.. Centre-to-centre distance of connections 50 mm.
Technical description
The HEIMEIER Multilux 4 – Set for twopipe heating systems consists of:
- Multilux 4 thermostatic valve body
- Adapters for R1/2 and G3/4, for radiator connections
- End caps for G 3/4 pipe connection,
- Cover, white or chrome-plated,
- Thermostatic head DX, white or chrome-plated
Multilux 4 is made of corrosion-resistant gunmetal and is suitable for installation as an angle or straight form fitting. It is also possible to mount the thermostatic head on the left or right (factory setting on left). For mounting on the right, the thermostatic insert can be replaced by the shut-off/control insert.
Centre-to-centre distance of connections 50 mm.
Tolerance compensation ±1.0 mm with special union nuts and flexible flat seal system for installation free of tension.
Stainless steel spindle with double O-ring seal. The outer O-ring and the entire thermostatic insert can be replaced while under pressure.
With shut-off/control cone. Operation with 8 mm hexagonal key. Spindle seal with EPDM O-rings.
G3/4 pipe connection with compression fittings for plastic, copper, precision steel or composite pipe. Only use the appropriate, designated HEIMEIER compression fittings (designation e.g. 15 THE) for HEIMEIER valve fittings.
Permissible operating temperature TB 120 °C, with cover TB 90 °C. Permissible operating pressure PB 10 bar.
Outstanding connection design with elegant white or chrome-plated plastic cover.
Thermostatic head DX with closed graduation cap and liquid-filled thermostat. High actuating force, minimum hysteresis, optimum closing time.
Stable control response even with minor calculated p-band variations (<1 K).
Conforming to German EnEV and/or DIN V 4701-10. Setting numbers 1–5.
Frost protection.
